Home battery design & installation
Store today's sunshine. Run your home after dark.
A home battery soaks up the solar you'd otherwise export for cents and hands it back in the evening, when power is most expensive. We size it to your night-time usage, not to the biggest box on the truck.

Our approach
Sized to your evenings, not to the biggest box on the truck
We read your interval data or bills to see how much power you use after sunset, then size the battery to cover it. Oversizing costs more and earns a smaller share of the federal discount above 14 kWh.

What's included
Designed, installed and handed over properly.
- 01
Evening-usage sizing
Capacity matched to what your household uses between sunset and sunrise.
- 02
Retrofit to existing solar
We check your current inverter and wiring at the inspection and tell you exactly what's needed.
- 03
Backup options explained
Not every battery keeps the lights on in a blackout. We show you which circuits can be backed up and what that costs.
- 04
VPP-capable hardware
Batteries on the federal program must be able to join a virtual power plant. We explain the offers so you can decide.
- 05
Safe, compliant placement
Location chosen for ventilation, clearances and Australian Standards, inside or out.
- 06
Discount applied for you
We create and assign the STCs, so the federal discount appears as a lower price on your quote.
Compliance & safety
Labelling that meets Australian Standards
Non-compliant labelling is the single most common fault the Clean Energy Regulator finds when it inspects battery installs. We label every system to the current Australian Standards, so emergency responders and any trade working on it later know exactly what they're dealing with.
Labelled against the CER inspection checklist
- Battery energy storage system (BESS) signage to AS/NZS 5139
- Shutdown and isolation procedures labelled at the switchboard and the battery enclosure
- Checked against the same labelling checklist Clean Energy Regulator inspectors use
Incentives
Rebates on home batteries
- Cheaper Home Batteries Program: an upfront discount of around 30% on eligible batteries from 5 kWh to 100 kWh
- Full credit for the first 14 kWh of usable capacity, 60% from 14–28 kWh and 15% from 28–50 kWh
- Not means-tested, and available even if your address already received the Victorian solar rebate
- Today's rate applies to installs completed by 31 December 2026, then steps down every six months
Estimate your battery discount

Same battery installed January to June 2027
$2,847
Installing before the rate drops is worth about $550 more on this battery.
Estimate only. Assumes about $37 per STC and 6.8 STCs per kWh (dropping to 5.7 from 1 January 2027). The certificate price moves with the market; your written quote shows the exact figure.
